I wish to announce that I have purchased the established grocery business, corner Canal and Market Streets, opposite Wayside Inn, Ellenville, for several years past conducted by Mr. H. Shurter.

It is my intention to continue the business, carrying a full and complete line of the highest grade groceries, embracing the best known brands on the market, the best of fruit, and paying especial attention to the fancy groceries trade, in which we lead.

I solicit a continuance of the generous patronage heretofore enjoyed, and trust that the service we shall endeavor to give the public many merit and win new friends.

The Moore Family Reunion

Fifty Descendants of Leonard Moore

Assemble in Grahamsville

A reunion was held at Grahamsville October 25th of the children of late Leonard Moore. About fifty were present, eighteen being absent, including two daughters, Sara and Sylvia. Dinner was served at 1 o’clock in the Hall, after which the time was spent in visiting and merry-making. Many indulged in the sport of roller skating. There was a chauffeur contest, the winner getting her choice of seats in the auto going for a long spin, which was a success except for the sparker being slightly out of control.

Mr. and Mrs. Herman Brundage and Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Groo were present — Mrs. Brundage being the only surviving sister of Leonard Moore, and Mrs. Groo the only surviving sister of Mrs. Leonard Moore, the father and mother of the family meeting at this reunion. Mr. and Mrs. Harrison Richard and three boys were present, Mrs. Richard being a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Groo. Messrs. Charles and Clarence Emerson, nephews of Mrs. Burr Moore, were guests.

A bountiful supper was served after which the evening was spent listening to music, singing, recitations and storytelling. An organization was formed and Mrs. Burr Moore, the oldest of the eleven living children of Leonard Moore, Vice President, Mr. George Moore, Vice President, Mr. Charles Moore, Treasurer, and Mrs. Dan Moore, Secretary. Mr. Dan Moore, Chairman Refreshment Committee. Miss Myra Beers, Chairman Entertainment Committee.

It was decided by unanimous vote that the reunion be held at the same time and place next year.
