Terminal List

Terminal List is our introduction to James Reece, a Navy SEAL team leader. The book opens with the destruction of Reece’s team save for himself and one other man in an ambush that was just a little too perfectly executed. Shortly after arriving back in the states, Reece’s last surviving teammate commits suicide under mysterious circumstances followed closely by his wife, young daughter and unborn child being gunned down in what was made to look like a home invasion gone wrong. Convinced there is a larger conspiracy at play, our protagonist sets out to avenge the deaths of his team and his family. What follows is a tale of sadness, vengeance and eye for an eye justice.

One Minute Out

The ninth book of The Gray Man Series finds Court Gentry on a freelance mission to assassinate a former war criminal who slipped through the cracks and is living the good life in South America. Instead of taking the long range shot he planned on, Gentry decides his target’s atrocities deserve a more personal and hands-on touch. After infiltrating the target’s compound and accomplishing his mission he comes upon a group of human trafficking victims. Although he is unable to rescue them at the time, his conscience won’t allow him to simply move on. In his efforts to save these women he uncovers a worldwide human trafficking ring. If you are familiar with the Gray Man series you can probably guess what happens next. If you aren’t then I recommend you get a copy of One Minute Out.

Educated

Educated is a first-person account of the author’s upbringing in a survivalist family located in the rural mountains of Idaho. Born into a family that didn’t believe in modern medicine, education or contact with outsiders the author spent the first 17 years of her life helping her mother, a local midwife and healer, and preparing for the end of the world that her father is convinced was on the horizon. Unlike the rest of her family, the author longed to see the world outside of her small community in the mountains and by the time she was a teenager she was beginning to venture out into the wider world. As her journey progresses she finds herself beginning her formal education at the age of 17 and her thirst for knowledge takes her to places she could have never dreamed of.
