Young artists across Ulster County are being asked to submit their designs for “I Voted” stickers to be used at the polls on Election Day this November. The winning design will be used for the official stickers used across the county during the General Election on Tuesday, November 4, 2025.

The competition is open to students between the ages of 9 and 18. Submissions will be accepted from April 15 to June 30, 2025.

The design must be a 2-inch circular graphic that includes the words “I Voted.” Any medium may be used, including crayon, paint, pencil, or digital tools. Submissions may be hand-drawn or digitally produced.

For the first time, the Ulster County Board of Elections Commissioners will join with a panel of community arts leaders to select the top five designs. The panel is part of the county's new Tourism Department-led Arts, Culture, and Open Spaces initiative.

The Arts, Culture, and Open Spaces panelists are:

Danielle Bliss, Owner, Wishbone Letterpress & Producer, HV Hullabaloo Holiday Market

Vanessa Cappuccio-Baer, Arts Mid-Hudson

Margaret (Maggie) Inge, Board President, Midtown Kingston Arts District

Melanie Martin, Sales Director, New York Foundation for the Arts

Bryant Andrews, Executive Director, Center for Creative Education

Ulster County Director of Arts, Culture, and Open Spaces

Students may submit their designs by emailing a photo, PDF, or JPEG of their design to elections@co.ulster.ny.us.
