Welcome back home, Jasmine. I have thoroughly enjoyed your column and reports from across the nation.

However, I disagree with your assessment of the Trump/Media issue that y`ou wrote about in the September 25 issue.

As a life long Democrat, (I’m 70), now a “walkaway”, I’ve viewed issues from both sides.

President Trump is absolutely right in referring to these outfits – CNN, MSnow, Politico – as “fake news”. I for one celebrated their comeuppance. I’ll offer just a few examples though there are hundreds.

The years pushing the RUSSIA RUSSIA hoax.

Endless rebuttals about Hunter Biden laptop.

Reports of “mostly peaceful” demonstrations while cities burned, clearly visible behind the reporter. During Black Lives Matter RIOTS.

President Biden is “sharp as a tack.”!!!!

The headline at CNN when Trump was SHOT AT, they wrote “Trump Fell”!

While all this fake reporting was going on, these news outlets refused to cover any of Trump’s rallies. EXCEPT, of course, the Butler, Pa. rally. (Which they so totally misreported).

They’ve repeatedly refused to air most of our president’s speeches. That is a DISSERVICE to the American people. And clear BIAS. Bias is not their job. What happened to the concept of “objectivity “?

Furthermore, this action is NOT unprecedented.

In 2009 Obama sidelined Simon Ateba, a reporter in the press pool.

He also tried to ban FOX news.

And President Biden hardly gave ANY access at all!!!

Yes, it’s is true, our mainstream media is one of our biggest enemies. Obama’s tampering with the Smith-Mundt act allowed propaganda to invade our news.
